Memorable Stories - Teen Get Well

We’d like to share some of our memorable stories from our Company, Gifts for Every Reason.

Another memorable moment was the phone call we received from a young teen.  He explained that he had a very sick friend who was going to be in the hospital for a few months.  Being a young teen, we weren’t quite sure where the conversation was going to go, but we patiently listened to him tell the story. 

He explained that he and some friends had raised money in their high school to send her a very special gift and that his principal had offered to provide his own credit card to purchase the custom basket.  Selections would include some of her favorite magazines, books, DVD’s and gift cards. 

We had a lot of running around to do in order to find all the items but it was well worth it.  Needless to say we had tears in our eyes for months when retold this story.   

Memorable Stories - Retired Hunter

We’d like to share some of our memorable stories from our Company, Gifts for Every Reason.

One of the very first gift baskets we did was for a corporate client who wanted a ‘FUN’ and unique gift basket for an executive who was retiring.  They wanted to see hunting items along with some retired gag gifts, the wackier the better.  Naturally we had to track down some suitable items first.  We had so much fun designing this basket that we had to share it with everyone.  It was quite the talk of the town.

Memorable Stories - Peanut Butter & Jelly

We’d like to share some of our memorable stories from our Company, Gifts for Every Reason.

In 2008, we received a call from a customer in Idaho USA, wanting to send a unique and memorable gift to a major Toy Company in Canada as a Thank you for accepting one of their unique toy products.

The client wanted to send ONLY, a loaf of white bread, a jar of peanut butter and some grape jelly.  Our dilemma was how to present this in a unique and equally beautiful way.   The solution we came up with, was to assemble the items on a beautiful silver platter, with 2 knife spreaders and some beautiful ivy.  All hand wrapped with a big silver bow. 

We anxiously awaited the feedback and well, here is what the customer had to say:

“I just wanted to tell you how wonderfully the Peanut Butter & Jelly delivery was received. It was quite the talk of the place and was "the best gift they have received for years". Not sure what you did, but they loved it!”
